With our 17-year old blind and mobility challenged dog, Andy, and our site impaired 11-year old retriever mix, Shiloh, we struggled to find a dog boarding facility where they would feel at home and receive the same attention and spoiling we gave them. They inspired us to open Pawsitively Zen, a unique pet resort, and assemble a team of wonderful, dog loving humans to provide an amazing level of care to furry kids and to make things more convenient for pet parents. They have both passed on, and their pictures are on our front window as a testament that this is the most important and necessary job I'll ever have.
Our mission is to make life easier while you're away.
Our philosophy is to treat every pet guest with respect, love, and compassion.
We cater to the needs of pets and their parents. We offer a unique vibe and strive to create a loving, comfortable, playful, and calming environment for our pet guests.
We'd love for you to visit us and find out why we're different.

Raina is our pet stylist extraordinare. She listens carefully to and works with Pet Parents to ensure she meets their expectations. She takes the time to get to know each pet client, letting them warm up to her and creating strong bonds with them. Raina has over 15 years of grooming experience. She also has experience in pet retail and operations, and is educated in nutrition, skin allergies, and pet care. Raina takes extra time and care for each pet client, never rushing through. This extra attention led to her noticing a strange mass on a pet client. After alerting the Pet Parents, they immeidately took their dog into the veterinarian, and learned she had cancer. The Pet Parents caught it in time to do treatment and the pup lived many good years after. The Pet Parents were overjoyed and extremely grateful for Raina.
Raina has a Jack Russell Terrier named Remi and a cat named Turbo. She looks forward to meeting your pup!
